Beneath The Bar started as a tiny gym by four friends; Matt Helsley, Rowdy Yates, Fred Plata, and Jon Colson. We started the gym because we wanted a place we could call our own. From the tiny gym next to Uncle Sams Saloon, we grew until we needed something more. We take pride in our gym, and we hope you do too. Check out what we have to offer.

We have two dedicated deadlift platforms with band hooks, and deadlift jacks. Our gym also features a lot of extra floor space on the rubber, as well as our large turf track for performing Oly lifts.

Our gym features a perfect condition Precor cable-crossover, complete with all the fun stuff: Cable Crossover, Lat-Pull, Low-Cable Row, and Assisted Chin-up. We also have all the attachable bars and grips.

BTB has a complete set of dumbbells from 5-150lbs. To accompany the dumbbells, is heavy-duty adjustable benches. Adjust the benches for flat, incline, or overhead press.

What is a Pit Shark? The Pit shark is a belt squat machine, which allows you to take the load off of your back and do squats with the weight attached to belt that wraps around your waist.
